• Cover

DHL can arrange shipper's Interest Insurance which offers protection for your shipments from door-to-door. This service covers against physical loss or damage that could occur due to external causes during transportation. It applies to the direct replacement or repair cost of the shipments transported and transportation charges are automatically insured with your shipment. This insurance covers all kinds of shipments, documents and parcels, internationally.

• Premium amount

Effective from 1 January 2007, Premiums will increase to NZ $25 for the first NZ $1000 of cover then 2.5% of the value of the goods - for all outbound and domestic services. Please call customer service on 0800 800 020 if you have any other question about our competitive premiums.

ARRANGING INSURANCE:
To insure your shipment, request the service at the same time as your booking.
Tick the "shipment insurance" box on your airwaybill and enter the insured value in your local currency. Please remember to provide this information. It is essential for arranging the insurance.
