Access to challenging markets

DHL Global Forwarding's air freight products are further strengthened by StarBroker, our own specialist in house carrier. StarBroker consolidates air freight at regional hubs, originating from various countries. This centralised approach means that we can offer our air freight products to a wide range of challenging destinations at a competitive price.

StarBroker strengthens our regional air freight capabilities with the following four services:

Atlantic Star

  • providing a daily service to/from all major European and US East Coast points
  • direct connections to/from the Middle East (via DHL´s Bahrain hub) and Africa (via DHL´s Lagos hub).

Latino Star

  • providing regular capacity between Europe and all major destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean
  • five times a week to Caracas and Panama.

Emerging Star

  • from Europe to Bahrain and from Bahrain to more than 14 destinations in Iraq and Afghanistan
  • three times a week to Bahrain and beyond
  • direct connections to/from US through European hubs.

Africa-on-Line

  • unique service offering to Lagos and 25 West African destinations
  • five times a week to Lagos and beyond
  • firect connections to/from US through European hubs.

US Domestic Air Freight

Same Day/Next Flight Out 12 noon
Overnight expedited handling of time sensitive shipments with delivery by 12 noon the next day.

Same Day/Next Flight Out
Priority handling of time critical shipments with same day delivery.

Next Day 12:00 or 5:00 pm
Expedited handling of time sensitive shipments for delivery by 12:00 pm or 5:00 pm the next business day throughout the U.S.

2nd Day
Delivery on the second business day for a more cost-effective alternative.

FreightMiser 3 Day Service
Day-definite deferred service within three days.

RoadMaster 3-5 Day Service
Standard deferred service with delivery in three to five days.

Precision Service
Customer-defined, time definite service.

Transborder Service
Next flight out or next day service between the US, Canada and Mexico.
