After graduating from RMIT University in Melbourne, Graeme won an international scholarship with The Australian Wool Corporation, and was tilted ‘Australian Young Designer of the Year’ in 1986.

After a whirlwind European internship, taking in many top fashion houses and agencies, he decided to remain abroad to further his career. After an initial sales and design post at British designer label Paul Smith, Graeme sharpened his marketing and communications skills and went on to become the label’s European Press Officer. Building on his networks further, Graeme moved on to become a founding partner for a start up boutique PR agency in London, which represented some of the hottest British designer brands in the early 90s. Finishing off what then became a decade of working abroad, Graeme’s final London post was as Fashion Director for one of the UK’s, top five-ranked, integrated media agencies representing a large portfolio of fashion and lifestyle FMCG brands.

Returning back to his roots in Australia, Graeme joined the fast-growing youth marketing agency Spin Communications. After many years building a strong client base, Graeme then moved inter-company across to Australian Fashion Innovators and became the full-time Marketing & Communications Director for the company’s fledgling Australian Fashion Week, whilst developing and managing numerous large scale B2B and B2C fashion events throughout Asia. In 2005 this business was acquired by IMG. Graeme is currently Regional Marketing & Communications Director at IMG for the Asia Pacific across numerous events and projects.
